Term 3

Primary 1 have been very enthusiastic about our new topic 'Friends Around the World'. We have been learning about how other people live around the world and comparing it to how we live. We have been learning about healthy food and where it comes from. We even got to make our own banana sandwiches! They were absoloutely delicious.

Primary 1 are really excited about welcoming our friends and family to our healthy breakfast which will be on the 19th of February at 9.30.

To help us learn about our new topic, some special visitors have come to our class. Have a look at the photos below to meet the newest additions to primary 1b.

As part of our topic we have been looking at the similarities between countries. We decided to

create our very own Airport! We have had lots of fun using our imagination to go on different adventures to other countries.

Getting ready to visit the Airport

 We have been looking at the different curency used by other countries. We have been playing in a Bureau de Change swapping Sterling in to Euros.

Here we are writing our own boarding passes to go on our flight.

We had a look through some holiday brochures to decide where we wanted to go on holiday. We had to fill in a booking form and write a list of all of the different things that we would need.

While we were waiting for our flight in the Departure Lounge, we decided to write some postcards to our friends.
